Configuration Steps for MAG256 Device

Note: If you are configuring a MAG256 device, please skip Step 2 and Step 4 as they are automatically performed during startup.

1. Go to Settings in the main menu, then select System Settings.
2. Scroll down to Software Update, press OK, and then press the red button to update the software. Wait for a few minutes until the box restarts.
3. Go back to System Settings.
4. Select Video and change the settings to 1080p and 1920×1080. Press OK and then go back. (Skip this step for MAG256 as it automatically detects these settings.)
5. Navigate to Servers in the main menu.
6. Under General, enter se.pool.ntp.org as the NTP server. Press OK and then go back.
7. Press Portals in the main menu.
8. In the first portal, enter the following details:
   • Portal Name: MyTV
   • Portal URL: http://yoururl:2095/c/
     Leave the other portals blank. Press OK to save and go back.
9. Go to Advanced Settings and change the time zone to Europe/Stockholm to enable the Electronic Program Guide (EPG). Press OK to save the changes.

After completing these steps, the box will prompt for a restart to apply the new settings. Allow it to restart.

Before you start watching TV channels, perform one final step:

1. Navigate to Settings and go to Advanced Settings.
2. Change the Buffer size from 0 to 15. Scroll down the list and press OK.

You are now ready to watch TV channels from around the world. Enjoy!
